League cricket in the Superettan
Malmö Kings plays T20 cricket in the Swedish Cricket Federation (SCF) Superettan, South group. In 2026 we played 12 league matches between July and September and finished 6th of 13 teams with 6 wins and 6 losses.
Our home matches were played on pitches 1 and 2 at Limhamnsfältet in Limhamn.
How team selection works
Teams are picked by the club’s selection committee. Selection is based on training attendance, current form, attitude and the balance the team needs for each match.
Players who are not selected for a league match are encouraged to keep training hard, and friendlies give more members the chance to play.
Registration and club transfers
To play league cricket, players must be registered with the club under the Swedish Cricket Federation’s competition rules. If you are moving from another Swedish club, you need a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your previous club.
Under the SCF competition rules for 2026, transfers were free from 1 December to 15 January, and a fee of 1,000 SEK applied from 16 January to 31 March.
